01 · Overview
What it is
TutorDeck connects tutors with Economics and Business students at the University of Indonesia who need help with a specific course. Students post what they need, tutors respond — a marketplace for something that used to run entirely on word of mouth.
02 · My role
What I did
I co-founded the platform and built the front end with the back-end integration, working alongside the other founders from the first prototype through to the version that reached more than 90 active users.
03 · Problem statement
The problem
Students at the University of Indonesia's Faculty of Economics and Business had no dependable way to find a tutor for a course, and tutors had no way to be found. The market existed; the platform did not.
04 · What shipped
What I built
- Co-founded the platform as part of the founding team, and handled front-end implementation with back-end integration.
- Turned business and operational requirements into responsive, user-friendly, reliable web features.
- Worked closely with the other founders to align technical decisions with product growth, supporting the platform as it scaled.
